CPH: DOX offers internships in the Industry Department, where you can gain practical experience and expand your network in areas such as film, industry and education.
CPH:DOX – Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival – is one of Denmark’s largest cultural events as well as one of the largest documentary film festivals in the world with more than 125,000 yearly attendances. The festival’s platform for professionals CPH:INDUSTRY annually attracts around 1,900 national and international delegates.
The Industry Department is in charge of activities aimed toward the wide range of film professionals and emerging talents attending the festival. As an intern, you will get a unique insight into the international documentary film community, its institutions and key players and learn about how film projects are matched with the right partners, investors, sales agents and distributors. The department is divided into groups that collaborate on a number of projects, including:

CPH:LAB Interns will participate in the production of an innovative professional training program, communicate with the mentors and participants, see the production of an online workshop, and participate in the communication of the program, documenting it on the web and in a printed catalogue.
Independence, a sense of ownership, responsibility, a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail are key competencies needed. A collaborative spirit, open communication and eagerness to learn are also important values and assets within the department. The ability to speak Danish is not a requirement.
