**A Day in the Life of a Development Intern at Yens & Yens**
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming innovative concepts into tangible artworks. Your primary focus will be on developing solutions and creating physical prototypes. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in Engineering, Prototyping, Soft Materials, Kinetics, and Visual Design. Our development team is dedicated to turning creative ideas into exquisitely crafted pieces of art. No two days are the same here—some days will be spent brainstorming new ideas, while others will involve refining the intricate details of a project.
**Your Daily Responsibilities Include:**
- Ideating and sketching out new concepts.
- Tackling technical challenges.
- Researching and experimenting with new materials and production methods.
- Collaborating with a motivated team on diverse projects throughout the day.
**We're Looking for Someone Who Has:**
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering, Prototyping, Soft Materials, Kinetics, and Visual Design.
- A proactive and self-improving mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient solutions to technical and aesthetic challenges.
- Team collaboration skills, working effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Pursuing an education in Art, Design, or Technology (higher vocational or university level) with a specialization relevant to our needs.
- Fluency in English and preferably Dutch.
- A deep-seated passion for technology and art.
**Eligibility Requirement:**
- You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands, with a valid visa or permit.
