Description: 

We are currently looking for a motivated Erasmus+ intern with a fervent interest in contemporary art practices to join our program and transdisciplinary space. 

 

Turrinha’s Cultural Space is based in the center of Porto.

It contains working space for the participants and the interns, a common space, a community garden, and a community studio. The cultural space seeks to work as an open point of contact between local and international community members.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

As a Cultural Management intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the cut and day-to-day activities and the smooth organization of our projects, such as:

  • Conducting administrative tasks such as organizing the project’s inboxes (Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin), and responding if needed

  • Keeping up with the program’s calendar and reminding the team of important aspects

  • Being an organizational point of contact between the participants and the project team

  • Cooperating in the organization and supporting the logistics of different on-site and online events and initiatives

  • Has strong proficiency in English

  • Approaches problem-solving with a solution-oriented mindset and a forward-thinking approach

  • Has multitasking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively

  • Seeks to gain comprehensive insights into production processes within a transdisciplinary framework

  • Is motivated to delve into the intricacies of culture management, and displays a passion for continuous learning

  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and a passion for establishing robust and effective work structures, demonstrating enthusiasm for modern work methodologies.

  • Has a proactive multitasking attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt

  • Contributes fresh perspectives and ideas to the team, coupled with a proactive and engaging work ethic
