Description:
The English teaching assistant will work with the language teachers (English) and assist them in their classes or run speaking activities mostly like debates on cultural or current topics, role plays, games or extra-curricular activities such as an English club in order to develop students' communication skills. The English language assistant will also encourage and help students prepare for Erasmus work placements and advise them on CVs and cover letters. The English language assistant will also help teachers in different exchanges with European schools or school trips and develop international relationships with eTwinning.

Working hours/week: 17h/w, 4 days/w, 44 days, 187h max. School is 25 mn drive from Nantes. Free accommodation is provided at school. Free meals are provided from Monday noon to Friday noon (breakfast, lunch and dinner) excluding weekends and school holidays. An iPad with a wifi connection will be lent. Possibility to arrange some weekends in French families. Ideally suited for a student willing to become a teacher. At least B2 English level and A2 French level are required. A driver's licence is strongly recommended: a car can be lent during school time.
