Market Intelligence Analyst

INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES
The internship aims to make you acquire the skills of a real 007 of the web, that is, knowing how to investigate the Big Data present on the Internet to collect useful information for defining the business and marketing strategies of companies and institutions. You will work on market research projects for both large companies and Italian SMEs.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• You will learn to use advanced market intelligence software and tools that use artificial intelligence to analyze data.
• You will discover online reputation analysis and the so-called "network listening", i.e. to intercept and analyze people's conversations on social networks and online media.
• You will acquire investigation skills on the analysis and trend tools of Google, Amazon, Meta and other software to study the competitiveness of companies and competition.
• You will learn to structure complete market research, map customer personas and the online customer purchasing journey.
• You will also acquire copywriting and social media strategy skills and the use of the most modern digital marketing strategies.
• You will learn to always ask yourself intelligent questions and understand which is the most suitable answer based on the context in which you find yourself!

ACTIVITIES
After an initial period of training and learning in the first few weeks, you will support Central Marketing Intelligence in market research activities from online data for our clients and in the creation of case studies and reports to be published online.

You will therefore contribute to consultancy activities, coming into direct contact with the Agency's client companies.

In practice, a Market Intelligence Analyst deals with (non-exhaustive list):

• to find data relating to the markets to be studied, using database software;
• to study users' search intent on Google and Amazon;
• to create Buyer Personas of our clients' target customers;
• to identify and analyze the competition of client companies from different points of view (economic results, online, ad campaigns, etc.);
• to possibly reprocess the data extracted using AI software and data visualization systems (in particular Google Looker Studio);
• to create effective presentations of the extracted data;
• to interact with the customer to understand his real information needs for his objectives and to present the data collected.

You will join a young and dynamic team, participating weekly in team calls and calls with our customers!

The internship lasts 6 months, in our headquarters in Trieste in presence. The purpose is that of recruitment.

YOU ARE THE CANDIDATE WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:

• You like to discover and learn new things. Each market survey is a new adventure in a sector that you probably don't know and you will have to learn to chew... from fashion, to paints, to diapers and so on and so forth!
• You're not afraid of learning to use new software, in fact you like working on the computer;
• Don't get lost if you have more than one tab open on Google;
• It doesn't bother you to prepare slides and presentations with the data you have collected. Unfortunately, explaining what you have learned and discovered is the most important part!
• You have a good knowledge of English and do not be afraid to read articles, write and translate articles and emails and make any calls with international clients or partners;
• You have a good understanding of spreadsheets like Excel and Google Drive Spreadsheet and presentation software like PowerPoint and Google Drive Slides, and maybe even Canva
• You know and understand how the main social media work (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin, TikTok) and the principles of e-commerce;
• You are quite precise and attentive to detail, because unfortunately with numbers and graphs it is better to be careful.
