Physio.co.uk specialises in outpatient musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy services. We adopt a patient-centred philosophy and value the importance of teamwork, effective communication, honesty and openness. We provide a professional, safe and supportive environment to facilitate our clients in achieving their goals and realising their full potential. We endeavour to exceed expectations.

We are looking for an MSK physiotherapy intern to join our expanding team. The role will entail assessing and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal problems, providing sports massage and soft tissue therapy, prescribing patients with exercises, assisting with other physiotherapists, including patients with neurological or developmental problems. Observing physiotherapists, participating in physiotherapy training and managing own diary are essential for this role. The position also requires that records of client treatments are maintained in line with professional standards.

You will be working in a clinic setting, alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Access to support or advice from colleagues will be made readily available to you and regular supervision meetings with a designated line manager will be scheduled to offer support and facilitate your professional development. Whilst we anticipate the majority of your workload to be client-based, there may be occasions where you are asked to participate in activities directed towards service development and improvement.

This position is perfect for anybody who is interested in sports massage, sports therapy and physiotherapy.

As an organisation, Tx Group is keen to support interns to become registered with HCPC so they can seek employment in the UK.

When someone is completing a physiotherapy internship with ourselves we provide them with regular clinical supervision and line management to develop their skills as a physiotherapist.
