Overview

During an internship with Stealth Translations you can expect to gain practical experience and insight into the world of translation and localisation.

Internships within our Department of Translation and Project Management normally last for a period of 3 to 12 months. However, internships lasting for a shorter or longer period can be considered on an individual basis.

What to expect:

  • An initial introduction to our internal systems and processes, including an overview of quality standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 17100).
  • An introduction to CAT Tools (such as SDL Trados, Across, MemoQ and Wordfast) and the opportunity to translate texts in your chosen language combination. Your translations will then be sent to one of our dedicated revisers or proofreaders who will review the translation and provide in-depth feedback and commentary which will help to develop your skills in translation.
  • The opportunity to work alongside our sales department on multilingual marketing campaigns where you will get the opportunity to interact with customers from around the globe through social media and our website.
  • Project Management experience. You will receive comprehensive Project Management training and mentoring that will enable you to successfully manage translation or localisation projects from start to finish.
