Description: 

Concordia is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Workcamp Leader for a 2.5-month internship, from late June to mid-September. As a Workcamp Leader, you will be an integral part of our seasonal team, actively participating in and managing various construction projects. You will also have the opportunity to lead certain projects, working closely with teenagers and adults. This internship offers a unique chance to contribute to meaningful conservation projects while gaining.

Concordia has been dedicated to promoting global understanding and intercultural exchange through volunteerism. Our organization has a rich history of environmental conservation efforts, collaborating with local communities to protect and preserve natural habitats worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in construction projects throughout the season
  • Assist in the management and coordination of workcamp activities
  • Lead specific projects, overseeing and guiding participants
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for teamwork and cultural exchange

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Previous experience in construction or project management preferred
  • Enthusiasm for community service and cultural exchange
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
